To celebrate the first ever English issue of GEE Display we are organizing a game design competition. The GEE Unity contest. You can find an extensive special on Unity, the best games and an interview with co-founder David Helgason in the current issue of GEE Display. Have a look at some sample pages below. You can download the whole issue in the App Store.

The games submitted must be created using Unity and – because playing alone is boring – they must also include a multiplayer component. Apart from that, the sky’s the limit. The deadline for submissions is February 29, 2012. We’re looking forward to seeing what you come up with.
There are four simple steps to take part in the contest:
1) Download Unity FREE version: http://unity3d.com/unity/download/
2) Sign up for Photon Cloud: http://exitgamescloud.com/ or use any other multiplayer technology.
3) Start building your game that uses Unity and is multiplayer. There is a lot of inspiration in the Unity Asset Store: http://unity3d.com/unity/editor/asset-store
4) When you are done upload your game to Wooglie: http://www.wooglie.com/. In your game submission use the tag “GEE”.
